CHINESE EXPORT Blue Willow Porcelain Rim Soup Plate Qianlong Period C. 1790
CHINESE EXPORT Blue Willow Porcelain Rim Soup Plate Qianlong Period C. This is an Estate listing for an Antique Chinese Export Qianlong period (Circa 1790) blue on blue rim soup plate. Blue willow motif on a light blue background. In amazing good condition: when photographing I did notice 2 tiny rim chips on the back of the plate. Looking at the willow tree you see a double blue line encircling the design and at about 2 o’clock there is small line of glaze resistance. The bowl measures 8 7/8″ X 1 1/2″. Condition shows that it has been well cared for being approximately 226 years old. A must have for any collector of Chinese Export. Working in retail for many years has taught me about fine china, crystal and sterling silver. I also have studied antiques focusing on Asian antiques. I value integrity in all of my listings by presenting each item with the utmost accuracy so that my buyers can feel secure that the item they will receive is exactly what is photographed and described!
